But Maria did not appear for the game clarifying it as the same reason of her shoulder injury. She made it clear that the injury had been bothering her the whole year and it has now revived again. Therefore she had to withdraw from the match.

Maria has just gained her victory over Sania Mirza the Indian tennis player, with the score of 6-2, 6-1, and she has booked her place in the semi finals of the San Diego Classic.
